Our new upload process has been streamlined so you can add your custom thumbnail and video in one single step! It’s optional, of course. Keep reading to learn more about this highly requested feature.
How To Upload A Custom Thumbnail
Once you have submitted the video, you’ll see a new option to add a custom thumbnail.
- Size: 640x360px
- How to upload:
- Select “Upload Thumbnail” and choose the file from your device, or:
- Drag and drop the thumbnail directly into the Custom Thumbnails box.
(Desktop Version and Mobile Versions above)
If you skip this step, a default thumbnail will be used.
Don’t Forget: You Can Still Update Video Thumbnails After Publishing
Need to make a change? No problem. You can still upload or revise your custom thumbnail even after your video has been published.
Just head to your Video Manager and click the thumbnail icon for the video you want to edit. Then follow the steps to upload a custom thumbnail.
